To create a free iCloud account, you must have either an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or a Mac with OS X Lion 10.7.2. System requirements:

2) Mac:

- OS X Lion 10.7.2
- iTunes 10.5
- iPhoto’11 (version 9.2) or Aperture 3.2 (for Photo Stream)

3) Windows PC:

- Microsoft Windows 7 or Vista (Service Pack 2 or later)
- iCloud Control Panel 1.0
- iTunes 10.5
- Outlook 2007 or 2010 (recommended for Contacts and Calendar)
- Safari 5.1.1 or Internet Explorer 8 or later (for Bookmarks)

4) Apple TV:

- Apple TV with software version 4.4

5) Home Page icloud.com:

To access your mail, contacts, calendars, Find My iPhone, and iWork documents from your computer’s web browser, one of these browsers is required:

- Safari 5 or later
- Firefox 5 or later
- Internet Explorer 8 or later
- Chrome 12 or later

Note: To use iWork for iOS apps with Documents in the Cloud, the following versions are required:

- Pages 1.5
- Numbers 1.5
- Keynote 1.5
