IOS 6 : FEATURES, SPECS, LINKS, UPDATE

OS 6 is currently available as a Developer from Apple, meaning insiders from Apple can access and download the next OS right now. But what about the rest of us? When can we expect to have OS 6 on our iPad or iPhone?

The public release date of IOS 6 is slated for “Summer 2012″.

A summer 2012 release is just a year after the release of IOS 6, indicating that Apple is cranking out new iOS versions faster than ever before. In fact, IOS is now expected to have a major update every year from now on, a break from Apple’s previous tradition of releasing major updates every other year.

How will you get IOS 6? The same way as iOS 6 became available, it will be an upgrade offered directly from the iTunes as a simple download and install.
