When someone buys a new smartphone or just a phone, probably everyone thinks about how long the battery will run on this device. When I was buying new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C I am also worried how long they will work without recharging. The data Apple presented by on their presentation certainly had encouraged, but still we always understand that the statistics and life reality are different.

Almost two weeks passed since I have bought new iPhone 5S for myself and new blue iPhone 5C for my companion through a life. I always remember one important rule, which always helps me: not all what experts say are true. So there are the same. Even in Internet and the latest data of producers say no need to charge and discharge a battery for the first 3 times I have ALWAYS do this and have a positive experience in that. My “five” and the previous iPhone 4S and 3GS have always worked (and still work) friend’s and acquaintance’s phones work.

So remember one simple rule: when you buy new iPhone 5s or iPhone 5C do not hurry and do not charge it, turn on and use it until the phone completely discharged. Start to charge it after it was discharged. Try to charge it fully to 100% and do not turn out charging and hold it about 6 hours. If the data shows that the device is charged to 100% it doesn’t means so. At first times it is necessary passive charge not only fast. Then you can use the phone, but try to do the first 3 times by the scheme as described above. If you do like that for the first 3-4 times, you will find that your iPhone battery will last longer and better.

By the way, after 3 charges and discharges, my iPhone 5S easily keeps for 2 days at a constant use of Wifi, 3G, Web browsing and conversations. Oh yes, also when watch HD video via the AppleTv. So the battery in iPhone 5S is great and keeps for a long time.
