Twitter has scheduled a pair of “Developer Teatimes” for Oct. 10 and Oct. 12 with a “heavy focus” on the service’s tight integration with iOS 5, possibly providing further evidence that the forthcoming update to Apple’s mobile operating system will arrive in two weeks.

According to All Things D ‘s source who is very familiar with Apple’s plans, iPhone 5 will not be released in September as previous reports claimed, However he claims that the release will be in October.

So those rumors claiming the iPhone 5 will debut in late September? They’re wrong.

Instead, it’s going to be an October surprise — the month in which Apple will be launching its next generation iPhone.

Sources with knowledge of the situation say reports claiming AT&T has blacked out employee vacations during the last two weeks of September in preparation for the retail debut of the next iPhone are misinformed.

“I don’t know why AT&T’s calling for all hands on deck those weeks, but it’s not for an iPhone launch,” a source familiar with Apple’s plans said.

So, when can we expect the company to uncrate the iPhone 5?

“October,” the source said, while declining to offer a hard launch date.

The report didn’t mention why the release date was pushed to October. All previous reports claimed that the next generation iPhone will be released in September, And that came in line with the increase in staffing in both U.S. and UK Apple Retail Stores. After all it was reported before that the iPhone 5 will be released in September in the U.S. and Globally in October.

We are hoping that Apple announces the details regarding the iPhone 5 soon.
