iPad 5 Specs and Media Event confirmed. The new iPad 5th generation is a lot smaller than the previous iPad, but still maintaining a 9.7″ screen. What has been reduced is the left and right bezels which are basically non existent. This only leaves some space above and below the screen to keep the camera and home button features. It is also a lot thinner, and smaller in every dimension in comparison to its previous models.

New iPad 5 will be presented on October 22th. Competitors can close manufactures. Several sources reported before that Apple planned two presentations in this autumn. According to the latest leaks, the design of the tablet of the second generation iPad mini is mainly corresponds to the original model. The device should get the display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels (324 ppi). It is also known that the novelty will get A7 processor with quad graphics, which is now used in iPhone 5S. Perhaps, Apple will present new colours for housing of iPad mini. It will be not just „classic“ black and white versions.

iPad 5 coming soon. Apple’s partners (aka Foxconn) gearing up to begin mass production of the new iPad 5 later next month. We think the iPad 5 will most likely use an IGZO screen, which will cut the thickness in half and significantly reduce weight. We believe that new iPad 5 with new features will be released in new unibody. As expected the design of the cases suggest that Apple will update the 9.7-inch iPad with a design similar to the iPad mini. To fit in the leaked cases, the iPad 5 would need to feature narrow bezels and be slightly shorter in height.
